Twin Cities Fear Fest is returning to Mall of America® this Fall. Guests will encounter detailed sets, dozens of live scare actors, and special effects that create an intense, atmospheric experience. This indoor event will turn the nation’s largest mall into a Halloween destination for thrill‑seekers across the Twin Cities. With multiple themed areas to explore, every corner will bring a new scare!
2026 ATTRACTIONS
Jason Voorhees, the world’s most feared slasher from the Friday the 13th franchise, has stabbed his way through your nightmares for years. This Halloween season, get ready to finally come face-to-face with Jason. He’s coming for you.
You’ll feel his terrifying presence around each turn. Keep moving, and somehow, Jason’s already ahead of you. When his mask emerges from the darkness, he’s close enough to count every crack and scratch.
You can’t outsmart him. And there’s nowhere to hide. Once you see him, it’s too late.

A camp counselor leads your group into a rustic cabin, and for the first time all night you feel like you have the upper hand. The counselors have been tracking Jason so they know what’s coming next and are about to hand control of how Jason will attack over to you.
You see a screen light up in the dark and four buttons nearby are labeled: Panic. Slash. Strike. Stalk. Each one controls how Jason will attack next, and the choice is yours. You are the director of Jason’s next scene. His victims will never know strangers in a cabin decided their fate.
Your group gets a moment in the director’s chair—but never forget that Jason controls the rest of the night.
Extremely limited availability each night. Directors leave with a limited-edition collectible “Jason Universe: Director’s Cut” patch.
The Sanctum Secret Bar
Hidden within the terror of Twin Cities Fear Fest lies The Sanctum, a secret haven for those daring enough to seek it out.
Must be 21+ to enter. IDs will be checked on site. Twin Cities Fear Fest reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.
Defend yourself from the army of the undead with our exhilarating GellyBall experience! GellyBall employs electric devices, similar to airsoft equipment, to launch 8mm colored water balloons, providing a safe and enjoyable encounter.
Rest assured, GellyBall offers a secure and entertaining activity, using smaller projectiles compared to traditional paintball. All guests will receive complimentary protective eyewear for their safety. You’ll be placed in a range-style booth, where you can engage with live actor zombies in an exciting zombie apocalypse simulation.
Step into the delightfully dark world of horror and Glamour with the Elvira Pop Up Retail shop, featuring a curated collection of merchandise inspired by the Mistress of the Dark herself. From witty tees to limited edition accessories and official collectibles, this spooky storefront offers something for every fang-fan. Open during attraction hours—stop in anytime to bring a piece of Elvira’s campy charm home with you.
Sip your way into the spooky spotlight at the Elvira Pop Up Bar, where horror meets high spirits. Enjoy local craft beers, ciders, seltzers, wine, and bubblies all with a dash of the Mistress of the Dark’s signature camp. Raise a glass and toast to all things delightfully dark.
Non alcoholic drinks offered include: Starbucks Cold Brew, energy drinks, bottled soda and water. Snacks including chips and candy are also available.
Open to all ages but must be 21+ to purchase and consume alcohol.
Alcohol sales end 30 minutes prior to event closing.
